Friend --

Montanans take care of our own. And each year, more and more Montanans take on the role of primary caregiver for an aging parent or relative.

The pandemic has only exacerbated this trend, and the demand for professional, at-home care has skyrocketed. Unfortunately, our home health workforce is shrinking, and wages for caregivers have stagnated.

Friend, Montana is home to one of the oldest populations in the country, which means this problem isn't going away. And if you factor in the rising cost of living, it's clear that we need more for Montana's home caregivers. Much more.

The good news is Congress recently introduced the Better Care Better Jobs Act, which would make a historic $400 billion investment in the home and community-based services that the American people need.

This would be a gamechanger for Montana, and bring a windfall of resources for more home health jobs, job training, and better wages for our home health workers.

I proudly stand with home health workers in support of this legislation. Will you join me by adding your name to say you support the Better Care Better Jobs Act?

This is not a partisan issue, but we've seen good ideas steamrolled by politicians before. We can't wait on the likes of Senator Daines to step up. We need to stay on top of this and demand action if we're going to improve lives in our community.

Thanks for standing with me on this,

Cora
