This week I spoke on the House floor about the freedom-loving Cubans that are fighting for their inalienable rights. It's time that the Biden administration stops playing cover for communists and support the people of Cuba.
Today I also hosted my Third Annual Healthcare Innovation Summit - This summit serves as a key opportunity to showcase and celebrate healthcare innovation throughout the Greater Houston area.

Today I'm kicking off my third-annual Healthcare Innovation Summit at Rice University
with amazing Americans who are delivering hope to patients through innovation. We brought together Houston’s healthcare innovators to present their accomplishments & connect with like-minded professionals. In Houston we are unleashing the power of life-saving innovation to create a better world. As part of the summit, I presented the 2021 Susan Crenshaw Congressional Healthcare Innovation Award to Former FDA Commissioner Dr. Stephen Hahn for his great work in leading our country through the COVID-19 pandemic and streamlining the process to develop a vaccine in record time.
