Travel update in Nottingham 23 - 30 July
Think of others... Wear a mask
In Nottingham, the battle against Covid-19 isn’t over. Although we are all appreciating many aspects of our life without Covid-19 restrictions, with cases rising there are still important things we can do to protect ourselves and others.
Wearing a mask is something we should all continue to do – on public transport and in busy indoor places. It helps keep everyone safe.
We still have many unvaccinated people in the city. Continuing to wear a mask will not only protect yourself but also those around you. Many of us have got used to wearing a mask, so let’s keep it up, and keep staying safe.

Covid-19 travel survey - one week left
Whether you're working from home, walking or cycling more, or staying local for your shopping, the Covid-19 pandemic has made us all think more about how we travel. We want to hear how your travel has been affected so far, and how you think it's likely to be impacted in the future.

Bridging generations - 150 years of Trent Bridge
It’s seen royal tours, the Olympic torch, survived great floods, and one great frost. This week marks an impressive 150 years since Nottingham’s iconic Trent Bridge was completed.
On 25 July 1871, the bridge opened to the public after three years of construction. In all the time since, the bridge has seen just one major change, when it was widened in 1926.
Now, the bridge carries nearly 50,000 vehicle journeys every day.

Walking and cycling
Love Parks Week
Love Parks Week runs from 23 July to 1 August, and we're showing our appreciation for Nottingham's many green spaces.
Parks are a fantastic place to get active, to walk and cycle away from the traffic, and enjoy a sense of community.
There's plenty of inspiration to enjoy what's on our doorstep in this video featuring the Forest Recreation Ground, local residents and Homemade Cafe.
