House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is attempting to bury the truth about the violent insurrection.

After Speaker Pelosi rightfully rejected two of McCarthy’s Big Lie-peddling appointees to the bipartisan January 6 commission, McCarthy rescinded his three remaining nominees. He announced that some House Republicans would consider launching their own “objective investigation” into the events on January 6th.

It’s abundantly clear: Republicans are creating a cover-up caucus.
