The For The People Act (HR1) aims to protect voting rights nationwide. All of us at Team Griswold fought for it because it increased access to the polls, expanded voter registration, prevented partisan gerrymandering, and implemented so many of the initiatives we have in Colorado.

Now, with the Republican filibuster blocking the bill from going forward, it’s clear we can’t rely solely on Congress to protect our elections. It’s on us, the leaders in state government, to fight for voters’ rights and keeping our elections secure.

In the 2020 election, Jena successfully increased the number of ballot drop-off boxes, improved the voter registration process, and educated residents about voting by mail.
