Team,

We've seen Republican-controlled state legislatures across the country pass record numbers of voting restrictions this year, and the latest Supreme Court decision is yet another setback.

The Supreme Court's ruling last month upheld an Arizona law that requires in-person ballots turned in at the wrong precinct to be discarded, and it stops campaign workers from collecting ballots. At the center of this ruling and other attempts to suppress voters are restrictions that impose unnecessary barriers and put a heavy burden on marginalized groups, making it more difficult for people to vote. Voter suppression is plain wrong, and we have to fight back.

The surge in attacks on our right to vote and the latest Supreme Court decision are a clear signal that we need to take immediate action to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. Will you add your name to call on the Senate to pass the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act?

SCOTUS's decision comes on the heels of the 50th anniversary of the ratification of the 26th Amendment which granted 18-21 year olds the right to vote. Republicans right here in New Hampshire have tried to restrict students from voting by excluding student IDs from the list of acceptable IDs to vote.

Chris authored the Protect the Youth Act to safeguard the voting rights of young Americans, and he won't stop fighting in Congress to ensure that all Americans can cast their ballots without unnecessary barriers.

We can't preserve our democracy without protecting voting rights, friend. If we're going to protect voting rights for everyone, we need to pass federal legislation that will restore the protections of the Voting Rights Act and guarantee the right to vote for all.

Add your name if you believe that it's time for the Senate to take action to safeguard our voting rights >> [link removed]
