Businesses across Greater Nottingham are taking steps to improve their energy efficiency, can you afford not to?
The Accelerating Reduction in Carbon grant programme (ARC) supports small and medium-sized businesses who want to save money on energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
The carbon reduction grants can provide financial support to invest in measures that lead to cost and carbon savings for your business. Businesses have already used our grants to implement projects such as LED lighting and heating upgrades, installation of energy efficient cooling systems, insulation and production of renewable energy.
ARC can offer eligible businesses grants of up to ?14,000 to fund 35% of the cost of installing carbon reduction measures.
The ARC project is part financed by the European Development Fund and is delivered by Nottingham City Council.

NTU - Sustainability in Enterprise
The Sustainability in Enterprise (SiE) project aims to drive sustainable growth in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through a focus on the three key areas of business performance: process, premises and design.
The objective of this project is to achieve low-carbon growth through improving the overall sustainability of the local economy. The Nottingham Business School (NBS) strand of the Sustainability in Enterprise (SiE) programme supports SMEs through bespoke sustainability and carbon management consultancy delivered by a team of Student Consultants studying in third/final year undergraduate courses.
