SAT 24 JULY - The Rocky Horror Picture Show (15) This 70s musical tells the tale of young pair Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon) who find themselves stranded on their way to visit an ex-tutor. Instead, the couple will inadvertently unearth the cross-dressing Dr. Frank-N-Furter's (Tim Curry's) spooky lair of inexhaustible oddities.
SUN 25 JULYÂ - Dirty Dancing (12) An 80s American romantic drama dance film starring Jennifer Grey as Frances "Baby" Houseman, a young woman who falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze) at a summer holiday resort. Don't forget your watermelon!

Get ready for fireworks at Trent Bridge - Home of the Trent Rockets as they take on Southern Brave on Saturday.
You can watch the whole spectacle on Saturday on BBC2 from 2pm.
There is another home game on Monday 26 July when Trent Rockets take on Northern Superchargers.

This Saturday would have been Splendour 2021, unfortunately cancelled due to Covid concerns.
To mark the occasion, Notts TV is showing Splendour Super Saturday which will start at 10.30am. Put up your bunting, grab a picnic and spread out a blanket in the lounge and watch the best performances from down the years at Wollaton Park on Freeview 7 and Virgin 159. It'll be just like being there!
In conjunction with Splendour Festival's Splendour at Home, Notts TV is also asking viewers of Splendour Super Saturday to donate to Framework.

As you may have seen in local media, unfortunately, Nottingham Beach will not be going ahead this year as a result of the ongoing Covid pandemic.
Nottingham Carnival scheduled for 22 August has also been cancelled.
These cancellations, alongside Splendour and the Riverside Festival mean that we won't be able to enjoy these events until 2022.
