Dear John -- Invitation to Climate Change Public Meeting with Stuart Smith MP Climate Change is an issue that will continue to impact New Zealand, with the policy response disproportionately affecting the primary sector.
Last month, the Climate Change Commission released their final report to reduce the effects of Climate Change on New Zealand. While we are pleased the Commission has listened to National's concerns and shifted to an approach of providing policy direction to elected officials, National continues to have concerns with some of the policy interventions being suggested, such as the car tax and banning car imports. Please join National's Climate Change Spokesperson Stuart Smith MP and me on Monday 2 August at 5pm at the Lincoln Event Centre in the Habgood Lounge for a discussion about climate change issues and how the policy may affect you.
