We need bold, transformative policies that match the scale and scope of the environmental challenges facing our communities, while also advancing racial and educational justice.
The climate crisis is already here, and we are seeing its dangerous and destructive impact throughout our communities.
We need bold, transformative policies that match the scale and scope of the environmental challenges facing our communities, while also advancing racial and educational justice.
We need the Green New Deal for Public Schools — legislation, introduced by Representative Jamaal Bowman and co-sponsored by Ayanna, to combat climate change, systemic racism, and persistent educational inequities.
Will you show your support for the Green New Deal for Public Schools and add your name to become a grassroots co-sponsor?

The Green New Deal for Public Schools will invest nearly $1.5 trillion over the next ten years in America’s K-12 public education system to heal the harm of decades of divestment, redlining and cycles of poverty and trauma, particularly for Black and brown children.
This transformative bill will provide the urgent resources needed to retrofit every K-12 public school facility in the country, hire and train more teachers, provide clean water in schools, and increase funding for low-income and disability-focused federal programs.
What’s more, the Green New Deal for Public Schools will create over one million jobs and eliminate 78 million metric tons of carbon dioxide per year in the process — the equivalent of removing 17 million cars off the road.
Together, we can take bold policy action to address climate change, systemic racism, and educational injustice — but we need to show massive public support for this legislation. So, if you’re in this fight with us, add your name to join Ayanna and co-sign the Green New Deal for Public Schools.
Thanks for taking action,
The A-Team
