Folks,

The climate crisis is no longer a problem for future generations. It’s here now, and it’s devastating our communities.

In order for us to create the clean energy future that keeps our planet habitable, we need to move toward net-zero carbon emissions — and we need to do it quickly. I’ve pushed to include the Clean Electricity Standard in the budget deal that the Senate is considering right now, and I’m confident that we can get this over the finish line. But I need your help.

Will you add your name to my petition saying we must include a Clean Electricity Standard in the Senate budget deal? [[link removed]]

One-third of Americans live in a city or state with a 100% clean electricity standard. Thirty states and Washington, DC have successfully reduced their emissions with a similar approach.

With a national framework for a Clean Electricity Standard, we can create good-paying jobs, lower energy costs, and get on the path to zero-emission electricity. Our plan includes everything from big utilities to local co-ops.

Look, I’m not just a Senator. I’m a grandmother — and our generation owes future generations a planet that’s safe to live on. The Clean Electricity Standard is the most direct way to lower carbon emissions and slow climate change before it’s too late.

Add your name to my petition to tell the Senate: Pass my Clean Electricity Standard in the budget deal and do what is necessary to save our planet from the climate crisis. [[link removed]]

We’re so close to taking the bold action necessary to save our planet. Thanks for raising your voice.
