The session is 4 days in total, over 2 weekends in a row. If someone can't make both weekends, they can call to get a discount or give their other weekend away to someone else. The fee for the class is tax deductible to the Leadership Institute.
For additional details and to register, go to:
“Winning the election is a good-news, bad-news kind of thing. Okay, now you're the mayor. The bad news is, now you're the mayor.” --Clint Eastwood
The Leadership Institute's Florida Campaign Academy is an intensive four-session program that gives candidates and those who support them the skills to fight and win in today’s competitive public policy arena. The Academy runs for two weekends, meeting on Friday afternoon and Saturday all day. The dates and times are as follows:
Friday, August 20th, 2:00 - 9:00 PM
Saturday, August 21st, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday, August 27th, 2:00 - 9:00 PM
Saturday, August 28th, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Each session will allow participants to learn about a specific theme: Strategy, Communications, Fundraising, and Voter Contact. Additional on-demand content, which complements this material, is available to program enrollees.
Because this is a comprehensive program, participants will be asked to enroll and pay a one-time tuition fee. This fee allows attendees access to all seminars, webinars, and course materials.
Ideal attendees are current and prospective candidates, campaign advisors and staff, volunteers, and activists interested in impacting public policy.
Attendees will learn how to:
• Create a campaign plan
• Inspire people to get involved and vote

REPUBLICAN CLUB OF THE PALM BEACHES PRESENTS “WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE PALM BEACH SCHOOLS?” JULY 27
|
|
Please join us on Tuesday July 27
The July meeting will focus on some of the appalling things happening in our local school system.
From mask mandates in the classroom to political indoctrination, you should be concerned about these things whether you have children in the schools or not. Although the state government has begun to take action to ban Critical Race Theory, local school systems tend to have a mind of their own. Our overwhelmingly Democrat School Board has shown that it tends to go its own way.
This fight is national in scope, and our children are being taught to see themselves and evaluate others primarily through their race, not by the “content of their character.” Martin Luther King would be appalled at the turn this has taken, and the proponents of CRT would like to send us back to the days of segregation. We need to push back against the rhetoric that portrays America as steeped in “Systemic Racism.”
|
|
“Activist Mom” Jen Showalter will be our guest speaker.
With two special needs children, Jen has seen firsthand the failed policies that have had negative impacts on the students and their families. A fighter, she has been organizing resistance at School Board meetings and in the streets to oppose the mask mandates and the Marxist principles of Critical Race Theory (CRT). She would like to establish transparency and accountability to the School Board and Senior staff, and “scrub and dismantle the socialist ideology & indoctrination through any programs or curriculum, including but not limited to: CRT, racial equity, and an anti- American curriculum.” Jen will help us understand the state of play in our local schools and suggest some ways we can join the fight.
Jen has also decided to be a candidate for School Board District 6.
