John, Democrats have had enough:

NPR: VP Kamala Harris hints at filibuster reform to protect voting rights

Republicans have been winning all year. They implemented their Jim Crow 2.0 election law in Georgia, passed massive voting restrictions in Florida, and are now on their way to doing the same in Texas. They used the Senate filibuster to block the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Now VP Kamala Harris is taking the lead on voting rights, and she's made it clear that enough is enough. While speaking with NPR, Harris suggested she's already talking to senators about how to sidestep the filibuster and get Democratic voting rights legislation passed with a simple majority before it's too late.

Harris knows this won't be easy, John. Republicans are doing everything they can to protect the filibuster, and even some Democrats aren't on board with reforming it. But according to Harris, the time to act is now, “the right to vote is the right that unlocks all the other things.”

The GOP is attacking our voting rights every day, but Democrats haven't acted. We want to be in this fight with VP Harris because we know it's the only way to protect our democracy, but if we don't raise another $3,500 to support Harris' voting efforts in Washington, she'll be out-organized by the GOP's voter suppression campaign.

P.S. If we don't step up NOW, the GOP might cause irreparable damage to our democracy. In states nationwide, Americans are seeing their voting rights attacked and their neighbors radicalized. We need your help to get us back on track. Please, if you're able, donate $25 now to help us defend voting rights: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/a-womans-place
