Dear John,
I’m really excited about this, and I bet you will be, too . . .
The new documentary film The Divine Plan will hit theaters nationwide on Wednesday, November 6.
And you’re invited to ISI’s private screening.
The Divine Plan is based on ISI’s book of the same name. The film explores the unlikely partnership between Ronald Reagan and Pope John Paul II that brought down communism.
It is a story of faith and freedom—and of assassination attempts, KGB scheming, CIA intrigue, and the final act to topple the Soviet empire.
ISI has rented a theater at Penn Cinema Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware. I hope you will join us there.
I can’t think of a better way to mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The film features exclusive interviews with leading authorities on the pope and the president, including:
- well-known historians Douglas Brinkley, H. W. Brands, Anne Applebaum, Stephen Kotkin, John O’Sullivan, and Craig Shirley
- the leading biographer of John Paul II, George Weigel
- Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Bishop Robert Barron
- close Reagan advisers Richard V. Allen and James Rosebush
Plus, you’ll be treated to an exclusive Q&A with director Robert Orlando and coauthor Paul Kengor (broadcast from the Sheen Center in New York City).
Please reserve your seats now. Seating in the theater is limited, and we’ll hold spots on a first-come, first-served basis.
