Folks,

Teddy Roosevelt once said: "The wildlife and its habitat cannot speak, so we must and we will.”

These words are especially important to remember as one-third of fish and wildlife species are at increased risk of extinction in the U.S. alone.

Let’s be clear: Protecting fish and wildlife means protecting the future of our lands and water, and our way of life. It’s all at risk if we don’t act fast to address the wildlife crisis.

I’ve introduced the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act in the U.S. Senate to make sure states, territories, and Tribes have the funding they need to carry out wildlife conservation efforts and prevent more species from endangerment.

In this pivotal moment, will you sign the petition in support of the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act?

Enjoying the great outdoors and appreciating our wildlife is part of who I am. I know so many of you feel the same. So we should all be concerned that we don’t have enough resources to protect our wildlife and their habitats right now. Our current federal funding is less than 5 percent of what’s required to conserve species in need of protection.

Thankfully, the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act would change that. It would also create lots of good-paying jobs every year and fund Tribal wildlife conservation programs.

Can I count on your support of this deeply important bill? Sign the petition if you’re ready to see the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act at work.

Thank you for all you do,
