Bernie Sanders via Twitter: The next time you hear Republicans start to talk about ‘family values’ this or ‘party of the working class’ that, remember: every single Republican in the House and the Senate voted AGAINST giving working families direct monthly payments of up to $300 per child.

If Republicans cared at all about family values or the working class, they would’ve joined Democrats and voted to expand the Child Tax Credit -- the new policy that sends $300 monthly direct payments to 39 million American households to help pay for things like child care, health care, and food.
