The webinar will include discussion of the recently released federal Blueprint to End Solitary and action steps you can take to push for the Administration and Congress to end solitary in federal prisons and detention and incentivize states to do the same. President Biden and Vice President Harris pledged to end solitary confinement in their campaign platforms, and Members of Congress have called for an end to solitary. Yet, over 10,000 people are still locked in solitary in federal prisons on a given day, and people continue to die in solitary.
