John -
Throughout my life, I’ve seen the power of community.

I was raised by a family of strong women — my mom, my aunts and women in our neighborhood. They molded me into the person I am today and instilled in me a belief that no door of opportunity should ever be closed to me — or anyone.

I was also steeped in the faith community — people who taught me about compassion and service to others. They showed me that through faith, all things are possible. They showed me the importance of believing in myself and in those around me.

What those communities taught me is that when we lean on and support each other, we can accomplish far more than going alone.

That’s a lesson I carry with me into this campaign because it’s true that flipping North Carolina’s Senate seat is going to require all of us working together. Today, I’m asking if you can play a part in this fight.

Will you please consider making a $3 donation to our campaign today? Our race could decide whether or not Democrats keep the majority, and our path to victory relies on support from people like you. [[link removed]]

It means the world to me that you are part of this community fighting to win North Carolina and make history. Thank you!
