Brookline, Massachusetts – Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey approved the town’s law to prohibit the sale of tobacco or e-cigarette products to anyone born after January 1, 2000.

Colorado – A new nicotine tax and an increased tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products in Colorado generated more than $34 million in their first five months, according to a data analysis by The Colorado Sun.

Shreveport, Louisiana – The city council tabled a resolution to repeal a smoke-free ordinance passed in 2020 which makes all workplaces smoke-free including bars and gaming facilities. The original smoke-free ordinance will now go into full effect on August 1, 2021.
