[[link removed]]Dear John ,
About a week ago four people were arrested with 16 long guns and 1,000s of rounds of ammunition in a Denver hotel overlooking the site of the 2021 Major League Baseball All-Star game. And this weekend the fear of mass gun violence at a ballpark was all too real for fans at Saturday’s Washington Nationals game when gunshots immediately outside the stadium forced the game to be canceled.
It was a horrifying and chaotic scene that is all too familiar and all too real in cities and communities across this country every day. For lawmakers in the Capitol a mile and a half north of Nationals Park -- when is enough enough?
Right now, these life-saving policies and others are stalled in Washington:
*

It is time for Washington lawmakers to listen to the American people and take steps to address the gun violence epidemic and make our country a safer and stronger place to live.
Make a donation today to help us fight for change. [[link removed]]
