Another massive milestone reached for the New York Young Republican Club.
We have formally surpassed 700 dues-paying members. These are recurring memberships and form the backbone of our Club's ability to expand our programming and political initiatives.
The New York Young Republican Club once had as many as 5,500 members in the 1950s and 1960s.
We are working diligently to return to that golden era.
Our new goal is to now reach 1,000 dues-paying members by our Annual Gala in December.

The New York Young Republican Club is the oldest and largest Young Republican club in the United States, incorporated in 1911 with predecessor organizations dating to 1856. On December 4, we will hold our 109th Annual Gala, just as we have done through every major world event, including both World Wars and COVID-19, since our foundation. We are excited to welcome back both members and guests for a black-tie evening featuring an open bar, passed hors d’ouvres, and a seated meal as we hear from high-profile national speakers, mingle with special guests, and discuss opportunities for the advancement of our mission.
The New York Young Republican Club continues to promote the future political leaders of America by advocating for their involvement in local government, as elected officials, and within major political organizations. The Club is officially recognized by the New York State Young Republicans, Young Republican National Federation, as well as county, state, and national Republican committees.
The New York Young Republican Club was created in 1911 to promote and maintain the principles of the Republican Party. Our mission since then has been:
To promote and maintain the principles of the Republican Party: to foster within the Republican Party and make practical in service of the municipality, state and nation, the idealism characteristic of youth; to correct in our own party that tendency of all parties to make organization an end rather than a means; to develop sound principle and public spirit in party politics; to promote honest and fair electoral mentors, to the end that the expression of the popular will by whatever party or body, shall be as free, untrammeled and equal as possible; to resist and expose political corruption; to advocate merit rather than partisan service as entitling to public office; to watch legislation and encourage public attention to and efficiently criticize the conduct of government.

** Endorsement: Vito Fossella For Staten Island Borough President

The New York Young Republican Club endorses Vito Fossella for Staten Island Borough President. Fossella is a seven-term Congressman who formerly represented New York in the 13th Congressional District. Fossella has been formally endorsed by President Donald Trump. “Vito is strong, tough, loves our Country and truly loves the Great People of Staten Island — a powerful voice against crime and all other things going wrong in the city that we love,” Trump stated.
During his time in Congress, Fossella had one of the strongest conservative voting records. Two of his Congressional legislative initiatives focused on the effort to repair the 86th Street subway station in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn, as well as the return of over $700 million to individual investors by eliminating fees by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission with the Investor and Capital Markets Fee Relief Act, which was signed into law in 2002. One of Fossella’s top priorities for this election is leading a strong COVID-19 recovery effort in Staten Island, including small business revival. He has also been a staunch supporter of law enforcement, consistently pushing back against the “defund the police” movement. Fossella is committed to toppling the progressive, far-left, political agenda of New York City officials.
Fossella stated, “We want to do the best possible job for the people of Staten Island. We want Staten Island to have the strongest voice possible. Ron Coleman is partner and head of the New York / New Jersey practice of San Francisco’s Dhillon Law Group. He focuses on technology and reputation issues and has decades of experience litigating torts of competition, especially relating to the use and abuse of intellectual property as a tool of competition and suppressing free speech. Ron was the lead lawyer for band leader Simon Tam in his successful appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s refusal to register the trademark THE SLANTS on First Amendment grounds. An active social media user with over 130,000 followers on Twitter, Ron lives in Clifton, New Jersey.

The New York Young Republican Club is on the lookout for a new Activism Committee Chairperson.
The Chairperson of this committee serves as a voting member of the Club’s Board of Governors. We are looking for someone with a passion for both conservative politics and a background in either political campaigns or government.
The Activism Chairperson will be responsible for attending and organizing political rallies, protests, and other grassroots initiatives.
Applicants must be a current member of the Club in good standing and be willing to commit to at least one board meeting and one Club event per month.
