If Democrats want to make real progress on the issues we care about—from fighting global climate change to protecting voting rights to putting a stop to gun violence—we cannot just protect our one-vote Senate majority. We have to expand it.

Today, I’m going to tell you about two strong, progressive leaders (and fellow moms!) who will get the job done: Val Demings (Florida) and Cheri Beasley (North Carolina).

I’m also going to ask you to support their campaigns—because they cannot flip their Senate seats from red to blue without your support: Please, split a contribution between Val Demings and Cheri Beasley today.

I’ve met a lot of candidates over the years, and I can tell you: Val Demings and Cheri Beasley are the real deal.

• A former social worker, police chief and now congresswoman who helped manage Trump’s first impeachment trial, Val Demings is THE candidate to flip Florida’s Senate seat blue.

• And Cheri Beasley, first African American woman to serve as Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court is perfectly positioned to flip North Carolina’s open Senate seat next year and flip it blue.  

Democrats cannot rely on winning in safe blue seats in reliably blue states anymore. We HAVE to invest in red and purple places to protect and expand our majority.

And we do that by putting resources behind our candidates early. It’s going to take grassroots Democrats like you to power these hugely expensive campaigns.
