Immigrant essential workers have waited far too long for the security of citizenship, even as they risked their own safety throughout the pandemic. They have served as farmworkers, teachers, and healthcare workers during the worst of the pandemic and beyond. It’s time our country values their work, sacrifices, and contributions by providing a path to citizenship. 

After last week’s court ruling, which threatens the security of Dreamers, it is urgent we fight for permanent protections for everyone who calls this country home.

While immigrant workers were deemed essential to our survival during the pandemic, they have been forgotten by Congress for far too long. Tomorrow, we’ll remind our Members of Congress by taking to the streets to demand a pathway to citizenship for DREAM Act eligible youth, TPS recipients and their families, and essential workers!

We cannot allow Congress to leave immigrant essential workers behind. Join us tomorrow as we fight for permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship for immigrant New Yorkers!
