Hey, it’s Samantha, Ayanna’s Finance Director.
During my time working in grassroots fundraising, I’ve noticed a trend: Fundraising slows down during the summer months, particularly in July.
2021 is turning out to be no different, but the reality is that our people-powered movement for progressive change doesn’t take the summer off.
Ayanna won’t stop fighting for transformative policies that meet the scale and scope of the crises facing our communities, and we won’t either — but we need your help to sustain this work.
Your contribution today will help us build momentum around bold policies like student loan debt cancellation, universal paid family leave, and abolishing the death penalty. It will help train a volunteer and expand our neighbor-to-neighbor community phone banks. It will help us run digital ads to share Ayanna’s work and reach new supporters.
