-- July 13, 2021

John,

The pandemic didn't create the homelessness crisis in Colorado and across the country, but there's no question it's made it much worse.

Everyone deserves a safe place to live and call home. That's why Diana has made combatting homelessness a priority.

Last week, Diana's request to the House subcommittee on Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies was approved. Then, HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge joined Diana at a Housing development in Denver to discuss further investments in affordable housing.

This funding could get those back on their feet who may otherwise fall through the cracks. With so many folks in our own backyard struggling to meet their basic needs, we have to do everything we can to take the homelessness crisis head-on.

Sign your name next to Diana's to urge Congress to take action on the homelessness crisis.

Thanks,

Team DeGette

Diana is relying on grassroots donors to continue fighting for Colorado values in Congress. Can we count on you to chip in $5 -- or whatever you can today -- to help her keep fighting?
