The pandemic didn't create the homelessness crisis in Colorado and across the country, but there's no question it's made it much worse.
Everyone deserves a safe place to live and call home. That's why Diana has made combatting homelessness a priority.
Last week, Diana's request to the House subcommittee on Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies was approved. Then, HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge joined Diana at a Housing development in Denver to discuss further investments in affordable housing.
These are promising steps in the right direction, but it's going to take continued advocacy to make this funding a reality. If you support using federal resources to address Denver's homelessness crisis, sign on now to show your support.
