John - We wanted to share a quick update on Cheri's race.

Here’s the good news: Now that all the FEC reports are public, we know that Cheri outraised every single one of our opponents last quarter. Yep, we even raised more than Republicans Pat McCrory, North Carolina’s failed former governor; and Ted Budd, whom Trump endorsed in June.

This is an incredible show of strength for Cheri, and it is a testament to our grassroots support. We could not be in this position without your help.

But here’s the bad news: Trump’s hand-picked candidate is already on the airwaves with six figures worth of ads. And a Republican super PAC called Club for Growth just announced they’ve raised more than $5 million to spend in North Carolina alone to try to elect Trump’s right-wing candidate.

Republicans know Cheri can win, so they’re willing to spend whatever it takes to stop us. They’re going to try to buy this seat because they want a far-right Senator who will vote however Mitch McConnell wants.
