Welcome to the summer edition of the WFN newsletter. This space is to highlight the great work of the network, provide meaningful content, and centralize the most pressing issues in the our sector. The newsletter will return in the fall to kick off the Women Funded 2021 Conference!
Call for Sessions: Two Opportunities

We’re thrilled to announce two open submission opportunities to participate in WFN's virtual conference, Women Funded 2021. This gathering is open to the broader philanthropic and movement community as well as WFN membership, and we welcome session ideas from organizations and individuals committed to our shared work.

Report Alert: The Women's Fund of Minnesota released the first in a series of nine Listening Session reports ([link removed]) that illustrate the experiences, challenges, and opportunities women and girls across Minnesota see to create sustainable solutions. Participants discussed the impacts of COVID-19, racial injustice, economic inequities, incarceration, and additional crises on women, girls, and families, while sharing the innovation, resilience, and vision that point the way to transformational change.

RAINN ([link removed]) , the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, is hosting a fireside chat with their Founder and President, Scott Berkowitz and Ann Mukherjee, Chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard North America. The Wallace Foundation is launching a five-year, $53 million initiative focused on arts organizations of color. ([link removed]) ​ Aimed at fostering equitable improvements in the arts, the initiative begins with this guiding question:

Facing strategic challenges, how do arts organizations of color leverage their experience and community orientation to sustain their relevance and increase their resilience?
