Folks —

Republicans are attacking the right to vote in state houses across the country — from implementing strict discriminatory ID requirements, to limiting ballot drop boxes, to shortening runoff elections, to even making it illegal to bring food and water to folks waiting in line to vote.

Republicans are framing these new laws as “protection against voter fraud” in alignment with Trump’s Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from him — but it wasn’t. He lost. And we all know the truth: this is voter suppression plain and simple.

Last month, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans chose not to stand up for your right to vote or for our democracy. Instead, they filibustered the For the People Act — blocking the critical bill without a vote or even a debate.

Well, the people of Wisconsin didn’t send me to Washington to sit on the sidelines while Republicans attack our right to vote. I’m here to get things done. And if that means getting rid of the Senate filibuster to protect our fundamental right to vote, then I’m all for that.
