Ohio's working families need a leader who will represent them.
That's why I'm supporting Shontel Brown in the 11th Congressional District special primary election. And with less than two weeks until Election Day, she could use our help right now.
As the first Black woman ever elected chair of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, Shontel Brown has been a champion for Democrats, children, and working people.
Among her many achievements, Brown fought for legislation to address health disparities, brought thousands of jobs to Northeast Ohio through economic development projects, supported the expansion of WiFi throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and expanded universal pre-kindergarten to ensure no children get left behind.
In Congress, she will work with the Biden-Harris administration to address our most pressing issues, including implementing the jobs plan to create millions of good-paying jobs while addressing climate change. She is passionate about ending gun violence and will work to expand background checks and enact responsible gun reform.
