Last week, our Republican opponent, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, used offensive language to tell a group of campaign supporters that he’d “roll back” LGBTQ education in New Jersey’s schools.

It’s the kind of divisive rhetoric we have come to expect from Donald Trump and his acolytes — and it’s clear where Ciattarelli stands.

We need to make it clear that’s not who New Jerseyans are.
