During Donald Trump's last days in office, Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to reassure her that Trump couldn't launch nuclear missiles to stay in power.
Milley confirmed, but what our country's top military leader didn't say was that he feared Trump was planning a coup, a “Reichstag moment” to force the military to overturn the government.
Trump tried exactly that on January 6, John -- and he failed. But that was just the start of the GOP's attacks on our democracy, and it's more important than ever that we learn the truth about that day.
Speaker Pelosi has made it her mission to do just that with her January 6 commission because “such an assault on our Democracy cannot happen again.”.
Only one person knows the truth of that day -- the failed president who planned it. We think it's past time he gives the American people some answers. But as Republicans do everything to hide the facts about the insurrection, we need your help to send a message to Congress:
