I was a Capitol Hill police officer for five years.
And before I tell you what I saw one crucial day in the U.S. House, I ask you to give a critically important $25, $50, $100, or more right now for my urgently needed race against rabid liberal Nancy Pelosi’s right-hand man, Steny Hoyer.
Now during my first month as a rookie officer on Capitol Hill, my training officer and I walked over to the House side.
The I-35W Mississippi River Bridge in Minnesota had collapsed, killing 13 people and injuring over 140 people.
So, Congress was debating about funding to help rebuild.
And they're about to vote…but the electronic voting system crashes.
A Republican asks that votes get recorded by roll call or by teller.
Then my opponent, career politician Steny Hoyer, stands up on behalf of Democrats, and says “We need to take the system down for a period of time in order to fix it… [the technician] needs approximately 30 minutes with no votes.” But when I came back later in the hour, both sides were still squabbling.
Twenty term Congressman Steny Hoyer blocked a simple solution to a severe problem, even though our fellow Americans lay dead and broken!
The pettiness and pride I saw in that moment helped inspire me to want to be the change.
You see, Steny Hoyer has been in Congress longer than I’ve been alive.
He’s Nancy Pelosi’s number two guy, with a leftist voting record so horrible that American Conservative Union gave him a lifetime rating of 6.25…out of a possible 100!
What’s more, the Democrats are terrified they’re going to lose control of the House in the mid-term elections. Especially because of Nancy Pelosi’s extreme Defund the Police agenda.
You and I can beat Steny Hoyer and send him home to work on his golf swing!
