Team, Massachusetts was the birthplace of the Labor Movement. It’s thanks to workers like the Mill Girls who organized for safe workplace conditions and better wages that we have the worker rights and protections that are on the books today. The Labor Movement ended child labor, instituted a 40 hour work week, fought for unemployment benefits, and gained access to employer-based health insurance. But those rights -- and the unions that fight to protect them -- are under attack. We need to make the PRO Act law so we end those attacks, strengthen unions and protect workers. Will you sign on today to demand that the Senate pass the PRO Act to protect unions and workers?
The PRO Act is part of President Biden’s American Jobs Plan and would level the playing field for workers against powerful companies. Republicans have been working to dismantle the PRO Act, and unions along with it. We can’t let that happen.
