I have some great news to share with you, John: Our team has raised over $8.5 million so far this year.

Our fundraising report also shows that:

• Donations came from over 25,000 contributors, with the majority of those based in Michigan.
• There were over 22,000 donations less than $200.
• More than 10,000 new donors gave during the fundraising period.
• Donations were received from every county across the state.

This eye-popping fundraising haul shows that Michiganders are ready to defend the governorship from out-of-state interests and support my administration’s efforts to get Michigan back to work.

Because of this work, we’re well positioned to communicate all the good work we’re doing in Michigan -- rebuilding the Michigan economy, making the largest investment in K-12 education in our state’s history without raising taxes, fixing the damn roads, and so much more.

I look forward to your continued support as we ramp up in what will be a hotly contested race against an out-of-touch, DeVos-funded opponent.
