Hello Colorado Republicans,

This week, I have an important action item for you. With your help, we can stop the Employee Trip Reduction Program Jared Polis and the Democrats are trying to push on hardworking families around our state.

In addition to all the other things they control in our daily lives, the Democrats now want to tell you how to get to and from work. A new rule by Governor Polis' unelected Air Quality Control Commission would push businesses to limit the number of people who drive to work.

The Employee Trip Reduction Plan will:
  • Require businesses with more than 100 employees to register with the state;
  • Hire a "transportation coordinator";
  • Submit a plan to the state to reduce their employees' single-vehicle trips to work by 40% !!
That means 4 out of 10 working people in the Denver metro area -- and possibly even ANY urban area in the state -- could be told they can't drive to work.

Tell the state to leave your commute alone by submitting comments by August 3rd, 2021 to [email protected]

Public comments will be taken at the hearing on August 18, 2021, 4:30pm-7:30pm online. The AQCC will post details and registration information in the meeting agenda on August 6 at
 https://cdphe.colorado.gov/aqcc.

Thank you for stepping up and making your voice heard. King Polis should have no say over how and where we work!

Colorado Republican Congressman Ken Buck Launches ‘Freedom From Big Tech’ Caucus

CBS Denver: Colorado Congressman Ken Buck is stepping up his attacks on large technology companies by forming the Freedom from Big Tech Caucus in the House of Representatives. The Republican represents Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.
....

In addition to what Buck outlined, the caucus says it will focus on protecting children from harmful content online, protect privacy rights, end political censorship and counter what it calls Big Tech’s courtship of the Chinese Communist Party.

In April, Buck made a pledge to no longer accept money from tech giants’ political action committees. He accused them of limiting conservative voices.
