In 2020, I ran to represent you on Montana’s Public Service Commission. Many of you got involved in an election for the first time in my race for the PSC. I can’t thank you enough for your support.
Now we have an opportunity to take those same values to Montana’s newly gained Congressional seat. That’s why I’m announcing our campaign for Montana’s NEW Congressional seat. But I need your support: will you sign on right now to be the first on our team and endorse our campaign? »
My commitment to the Montana I grew up in and love continues. As a 2-time Olympian, I know what it means to go to the starting line. I am choosing to be at the starting line of this race, because our democracy, and our Montana, are on the line.
This Congressional seat gives us an opportunity to fight for a Montana that will restore a strong middle class, with economic security for all. We are all stewards of our environment and of our democracy. I know you share my commitment to our community.
I believe that our best days still lie ahead, but that Washington bureaucrats and lobbyists lack the work ethic to get us there.
Whether it was rowing in the Olympics, or fighting against powerful corporations, it was the hard work of growing up on a ranch in Eastern Montana that prepared me for tough challenges.
So now, I’m running to bring that Montana work ethic to Washington to fight for the hard working folks who have been left behind as a result of the Republican economic policies of the last forty years.
Montana has a real chance of sending a champion to Congress who will fight for the middle class. But I can’t do it alone: I need 5,000 Democrats to sign on tonight and say they’re with me. Will you personally endorse our campaign for Congress?
The Montana I love is slipping away.
We’re becoming the playground for the rich, where folks in the middle can’t afford to live, no matter how hard they work.
But Montana isn’t lost. We can turn this around with the right solutions that don’t leave rural and working families behind.
We deserve respect, fair wages, and a decent place to live. THAT’S the Montana I want for my girls.
