John, in a moment we're going to ask you to make a contribution supporting our important work. But first, we want to make sure that we're all on the same page.

With voting rights under attack nationwide, we have to help our communities across state lines and in our own backyards. With record-breaking heat and extreme weather events destroying homes and shutting down public utilities, we have to upgrade infrastructure across the country. And with our economic recovery hanging in the balance, we can’t afford to leave any of our neighbors behind. We need bold leadership and we need it now. 

That’s why Emerge is committed to recruiting, training, and supporting women candidates who will win all across the country and up and down the ballot. We need bold Democratic women in every state and at every level of leadership – not just because they care, but because they understand our communities’ real and urgent needs. And they're willing to act on them.

But if we’re going to shake up our political structures and get the results we’ve all been waiting for, these women have to run and they have to win. That means our team MUST dramatically expand our programs to provide the training, expertise, and support they need to break through some serious barriers.
