Cory Gardner made headlines last week for refusing (five times) to answer a simple yes-or-no question about whether it’s wrong for a president to ask a foreign government to meddle in our elections.

That isn’t an accident. Stonewalling is their strategy. They know that the right answer to that question will anger the current occupant of the White House—so they dodge, and hedge, and blame the people asking the questions.
