Last week, we saw another clear example of how important it is to help build progressive power in red states. In case you missed it, Texas Dems were fighting against the odds to stop voter suppression from becoming the law of the land. And they are still fighting...
Democrats have been losing ground at the local and state level for decades. We are now seeing the result of the GOP’s long game to gain impenetrable legislative power in swing and red states.
Over 46 states have proposed voter suppression legislation proving the GOP will stop at nothing in their blatant power grab.
But it doesn’t need to be this way. Democrats can turn the tides. Organizing builds infrastructure and infrastructure builds power.
Every dollar you donate to Groundwork works towards stopping what happened in Texas from happening in other states. Donate now. [[link removed]]

All it will take is a shift in our approach and a refocus on long-term, sustained organizing. At Groundwork, our mission is to help identify local organizations and activists that have been doing the hard work and need the investment of volunteer energy and resources to push their efforts to the next level.
We aren’t looking for overnight fixes, we are playing the long game and building the infrastructure needed to wrestle back state power in deep red places.
If you are disgusted by the GOP’s attempt to hold our state and federal governments hostage, overturn valid and verified election results, and pass vile voter suppression bills nationwide that undermine the American people, we need you to donate NOW. [[link removed]]
