John,
It’s happening all over our country.
Children can still be arrested and criminalized for crimes related to their victimization.
I could spend hours telling you about the buyers who have walked away from any meaningful prosecution — men like New England Patriot’s owner Robert Kraft and billionaire Jeffrey Epstein …
… while handcuffs, prison cells, and a life-long criminal record await the children they’ve abused and exploited.
We can pretend the Jeffrey Epsteins of this world don’t exist — that they aren’t buying and selling vulnerable children to satisfy their sexual desires.
But the truth is, they are. And far too many states — without strong laws to prosecute buyers and sellers — deny justice to victims and neglect to address the true cause of this evil.
Shared Hope is working to change this culture.
We will not rest until every state stops the criminalization of children for crimes committed against them and holds offenders accountable. We must stop demand for sex with children and youth who are brought into sexual slavery and exploited like products put on a shelf for purchase!
We will press forward through:
- Our Institute for Justice and Advocacy.
Here, we are building on the solid foundation of our demand and justice initiatives. - Our State Report Cards.
Every year, we publish reports detailing legal analysis and recommendations for every state in the nation. We identify and address legislative gaps and encourage states to raise their grades. - Our grassroots advocacy efforts, and the expertise of our policy team.
We are supporting states’ efforts to strengthen and implement laws effectively.
All of this takes prayers, support, and your continued generosity.
Your tax-deductible contribution today will empower Shared Hope to continue our vital work together even stronger — to bring justice to victims, end demand, and hold offenders accountable … until all of our nation’s children are protected.
Together, we will end the horrific act of sex trafficking once and for all.
Thank you, from my heart, for being as generous as possible today.
