I had the chance to speak to two RFS alums leading the charge,
Texas state Representatives Erin Zwiener and James Talarico.
Erin and James gave me insight into the secret plans, security concerns, and sacrifices that led up to this moment. Erin, a former guest on the podcast, told us about having to take her three-year-old daughter with her when she left. James, who recently called out Republicans on Fox News for their destructive actions, talked about the role he plays as an educator in the legislature.
