In just a second, I’m going to ask you to split a donation between my campaign and John Hickenlooper. But before I do, I’d like to update you on where things stand in our race, and why we need your help right now.
The minute I announced my campaign, I knew it would be a tough fight ahead. Dark money and Republican special interest groups poured millions of dollars into New Hampshire in 2016 to try and beat me — and they almost succeeded. When the dust settled, I won by just 1,017 votes.
Now, with Democrats holding a razor-thin Senate majority, Republicans are doing whatever they can to win this seat. The Koch network and Mitch McConnell’s super PAC are already spending big on attack ads in New Hampshire, and election experts are saying this seat is one of the most likely to flip to the GOP.
My team told me that we’re falling behind on our July fundraising goal. To close the gap, we’ve set a grassroots fundraising goal of $10,000 before Friday at midnight.
Can you please consider splitting a donation of $3 or more between our campaign and John Hickenlooper to keep the Senate blue and defend our progress?
