, This year, Earth Overshoot Day falls on July 29th, the date when humanity has consumed more natural resources than our planet can renew in a given year. To mark Earth Overshoot Day, we invite you to join us for a film screening we hope will inspire you to take steps to #MoveTheDate! Join us for an on-demand screening of the documentary film 8 Billion Angels. Available to view anytime between July 29th and August 3rd, 8 Billion Angels is an incredible feature film that recognizes the urgent need to address rapid population growth for the sake of our planet and for future generations. After the screening period concludes, we’ll convene for an open discussion with Population Connection staff on August 3rd at 2pm ET/11am PT. We encourage you to join us and share your thoughts on the film as well as other relevant issues regarding rapid population growth, public health, and the environment.
