Action:

We protested the “pro-life,” anti-LGBTQ group Concerned Women for America’s 40th anniversary gala at the Trump International Hotel in D.C. The keynote speaker that night was Vice President Mike Pence and we made sure he saw our signs as he left in his motorcade.

Erin emceed an event where her longtime mentor, march organizer extraordinaire Alice Cohan, received a lifetime achievement award from the National Organization for Women. Alice brought more than a million people to the National Mall for the 2004 March for Women’s Lives, the largest demonstration in history at that time. Learn more about Alice’s work in a video interview Erin conducted for the Veteran Feminists of America Pioneer Histories Project here.
