Last week, in response to a politically-motivated lawsuit filed by the Republican Attorney General of Texas, a judge partially ended the DACA program.

Join me in calling on Congress to provide a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers.

DACA has paved the way for hundreds of thousands of young people to make their homes in the United States, go to school, get good jobs, and raise families. DACA recipients have been forced to endure a lifetime of uncertainty, especially as Donald Trump launched assault after assault on the program. With this decision, that uncertainty has been exacerbated yet again. But this is not the end.

Congress needs to shield Dreamers from these endless political attacks and give them the stability that every American deserves. Will you add your name to our petition calling on Congress to pass legislation providing a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers, TPS holders, and all 11 million immigrants living in the United States without legal status?

We also need to continue doing everything we can to elect Democratic AGs across the country. This and many other challenges to DACA have been filed by Republican AGs. Meanwhile, my Democratic colleagues and I have been in court for years working to protect the program. We need more allies who will stand up for what’s right.
