“We are now taking the fight to our nation’s Capital.
We are living on borrowed time in Texas."
John, the situation in Texas is getting worse by the day. Legislators fled the state to prevent more voting restrictions from going into law. And now the governor is threatening to arrest them in an attempt to force the bill's passage!
We sent around this Wall Street Journal coverage last week, but these brave Democrats still need your help.
Our government must step up and enact voting rights protections while there’s still time. Let’s make sure they hear us!

John, this year has seen some of the most dramatic and unbelievable attacks on voting rights in decades.
Not only have state Republicans rolled back countless protections and established harsh new suppression laws – before that, insurrectionists stormed the Capitol building to prevent Joe Biden’s certification and stop the democratic process!
But Democrats have taken matters into their own hands, with more than 50 Texas Democrats fleeing the state to prevent quorum in a special session to enact new voter suppression bills.
And now the GOP wants to arrest these House Democrats if they come back home! We must support these brave legislators and the drastic measures they’ve taken to protect our rights.
But they’re doing all this to give the federal government time to act. We can’t let their actions go to waste!
Join us and sign the petition to support Texas Democrats and call on the federal government to act now on voting rights! We can’t afford to wait another day >>> [[link removed]]
