ProPublica just released a really shocking report: even as the richest American's worth went up by billions in the last five years, their total tax rate dropped to just 3.4%.

Our system should work for everyone, not just the most successful. Major discrepancies like these allow the ultra-wealthy to skate by while Americans are left without vital investments in their schools, communities, and local economies.
