A recent study conducted by financial analytics firm WalletHub investigated which states’ economies were recovering the fastest from the COVID-19 pandemic. Economic data pulled from over 180 cities found that the top ten states are those led by conservatives.

On the other hand, states with the highest unemployment rates were those with liberal leadership. These states imposed unnecessary lockdowns during the pandemic, hurting small businesses, and hindering their economic growth.

Conservative states pursued policies to preserve individual liberties and freedoms and keep people at the forefront, while combating the coronavirus. No lengthy shutdowns, opening states up for business, and ending extended unemployment payments. These policies were crafted both to combat the virus, but also to allow people to continue to live their lives without government interference. Conservatives know there can be no liberty without economic freedom!
