through 2021, we thought it would be a great time to share what we’ve
accomplished together so far — and what you’re funding when you make a
contribution to Ayanna’s campaign.

Here’s what Ayanna has been up to this year:

* Fighting to cancel student loan debt: Ayanna is leading the call for
student debt cancellation, urging President Biden to use his authority
to cancel at least $50,000 in federal student loan debt. The growing
student debt crisis has exacerbated deeply entrenched racial and
economic inequities across the country. Student loan debt cancellation
would have a transformative impact on Black and brown communities, and
would be a critical step toward a just, equitable economic recovery.

* Dismantling our criminal (in)justice system: From advocating to end
qualified immunity and the federal death penalty, to championing the
People’s Justice Guarantee, Ayanna is fighting to dismantle our
criminal (in)justice system and build a legal system rooted in justice
and dignity.

* Affirming abortion care as a fundamental right: Reproductive freedom
is under attack — from state legislatures to the Supreme Court. That’s
why Ayanna introduced the Women’s Health Protection Act — bold
legislation to guarantee abortion care is accessible everywhere and to
all, regardless of income, gender identity, or race.

* Confronting the climate crisis: The climate crisis is already here,
and there is no time left for half measures. Ayanna proudly
co-sponsored the Green New Deal, the bold, intersectional policy we
need to address this crisis and advance the work of environmental,
racial, and economic justice.

* Advocating for families in the MA-07 and beyond: Ayanna fought hard
for the expanded $3,000 child tax credit secured through the American
Rescue Plan, providing critical relief to children and their families
— and it’s expected to reduce child poverty by half.

Ayanna is advocating and
legislating to make real progress on issues of consequence for all of our
communities — work that wouldn’t be possible without your support.
