Hi team,
When I was first elected to Congress, I promised to work hard to make the lives of my constituents easier. I’m excited to share some good news.
I’ve secured the inclusion of $4.5 billion in grants for wastewater programs and sewage overflow protection into the current surface transportation and water infrastructure package under consideration in Congress.
This is an important victory, but I won’t stop working to get this and other crucial legislation across the finish line. Will you chip in today to support these efforts?
When I toured my district after being elected, sewage overflow problems were the most frequent infrastructure complaint. I listened, and then I acted. This may not be the flashiest issue that always makes the front page of the paper, but this is an investment that will improve lives here in Massachusetts.
Not only will these grants help my district, they will be accessible to the entire country. This once-in-a-generation investment will accelerate upgrades to systems that should’ve been improved a long time ago.
It’s because of supporters like you that I get to work everyday in Congress and pass legislation that makes a difference. Will you pitch in today to continue growing our grassroots movement?
Thank you,
Lori Trahan
